I should have Yelped this place before I let them touch my teeth. The other reviewers were completely right about this place only wanting to empty your pockets. I went in for a cleaning and next thing I know I'm being told I need invisalign and I have no cavities but I need "seals" put on six teeth before they become cavities. Guess what, those seals cost as much as fillings! Shocker. Of course I declined the invisalign as no dentist in 25 years has ever told me I need my teeth straightened. Typical LA dentist more concerned about cosmetic procedures then dental hygiene... Now on to the "seals". Let's just say I went in with happy teeth and after the procedure it now hurts to chew on that side. Went in a second time so they could fix it and after a little polishing was told it'd go away in a few days. It hasn't. I'm almost certain they made up that procedure based on the fact that no one else I've talked to has ever heard of it. They just wanted something to bill my insurance for and they even tried to bill me an extra $600 over what my insurance would cover. How convenient that they were able to waive that fee to keep me as a customer. Sound fishy? Probably because it was all a huge scam. Avoid this place and possibly look into whether or not the "dentists" here are certified.

BEWARE!!!!!!!!!! Received a home mailer coupon in mail offering an oral exam, x-rays, and "smile consultation" for $38. I was in need of an exam and x-rays so I figured I'd give it a shot. This is one of the highest pressure offices I've ever been into. After everything was said and done they quoted me $15,000 for total "needed" repairs, not including all the vanity measures they wanted to sell me as well. Dr. Abaian then proceeded to ask his assistant to get him what he needed to conduct a crown on me right then and there without even speaking to me about it! What?! Who does that? Do you go into a restaurant and the waiter just orders you some random item and makes you eat it? After calming stating 5 different times I had no interest in doing repairs today, they abruptly asked for their $38 fee and tried to book my next appt. YEAH RIGHT?! Shame on these people for luring potential clients in with some bait and switch SCAM! These people have no interest in doing what's right by their clients. They simply want to see how much money they can squeeze out of every poor sap that walks in their door and they'll do it at the detriment of others with no conscience obviously. If you haven't already gathered my flow, I suggest you STAY FAR, FAR AWAY FROM THIS OFFICE!
